Massage Therapist License: MA86756
Licensed Since: 2017
Location: Vero Beach, FL

Tanya Robinson is a licensed massage therapist and lifelong Vero Beach resident. She was drawn to massage therapy through her personal yoga practice and her experience using movement to help her own body heal, adapt, and function better.

After years of exploring movement as part of her own wellness, Tanya began asking how she could help others experience similar benefits. Massage therapy became a way for her to support clients through focused touch, thoughtful movement, and individualized care.

Tanya is especially skilled at providing detailed therapeutic massage. Her sessions take a whole-body approach, beginning gently and gradually building as the body responds. She maintains focused, attentive work throughout the appointment while considering both the client’s primary concerns and broader patterns of tension.

Treatment Approach

Tanya uses a reliable treatment framework while customizing each session around the service booked and the client’s current needs. Although people share the same basic muscles and bones, she recognizes that every person experiences tension, stress, movement, and discomfort differently.

Her work is intended to support easier movement, reduced tension, and a greater overall sense of balance. Tanya is comfortable providing the type of support a client needs that day, whether the goal is detailed therapeutic attention, relief from a demanding workload, or time to slow down and reset.

She frequently works with clients managing emotional stress, anxiety, and physically demanding routines. Her clients commonly include runners, office workers, and hairstylists whose work or activities may contribute to recurring patterns of muscular tension and strain.

A Customized Foundation

Tanya does not approach every appointment as an identical routine. Her established treatment structure provides a foundation, but the focus, pacing, and techniques are adjusted according to the client’s goals and how the body responds during the session.

This allows each appointment to remain detailed and purposeful while still being responsive to the individual rather than following a rigid sequence.

Yoga and Movement Background

Tanya has practiced Ashtanga yoga for more than ten years and has completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training. Movement remains an important part of her everyday life and influences the way she observes and approaches the body during massage.

Her yoga background gives her an additional perspective on breathing, mobility, posture, and the relationship between different areas of the body. When appropriate, she may incorporate principles of pranayama, or intentional breathing, to help clients settle into the session and become more aware of areas where they are holding tension.

Tanya comes from a family of teachers and healthcare workers. Her approach reflects both influences through a desire to help people better understand their bodies and a commitment to thoughtful, attentive care.

Techniques and Areas of Focus

Depending on the service selected and the client’s needs, Tanya’s sessions may incorporate:

  • Therapeutic massage
  • Myofascial therapy
  • Trigger point therapy
  • Reflexology
  • Pranayama and breathing awareness
  • Gentle-to-progressively deeper bodywork
  • Movement-informed therapeutic techniques

Tanya’s work is especially well suited to clients who appreciate detailed massage, a thoughtful whole-body perspective, and sessions that are adapted instead of performed from a rigid routine.

Her style is grounded in the belief that effective care begins with paying attention—to the client’s goals, the way the body responds, and what the person needs on that particular day.
